Terms and Conditions

1. Registration and Participation:
a. To participate in the Sports Gala Event, all participants must complete the online registration form and pay the designated registration fee.
b. Participants must be the appropriate age for their selected age division for registration.

c. Teams may consist of a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 9 players.

2. Code of Conduct:
a. All participants are expected to display good sportsmanship, respect, and fair play at all times.
b. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification from the event.

3. Waiver and Release:
a. All participants, by registering for the event, acknowledge and assume all risks associated with 5v5 caged Soccer, including but not limited to physical injury, and agree to release the event organizers, sponsors, and venue from any liability for injury or loss.

4. Safety:
a. All participants must comply with the safety rules and guidelines provided by the event organisers.
b. Protective gear, including appropriate footwear(studs) and shin pads, must be worn during the matches.

5. Event Schedule:

a. The event schedule, including match timings and locations, will be provided by the event organizers in advance.

b. Participants must arrive at least 5 minutes before their scheduled match time.

6. Team Responsibility:

a. Team captains are responsible for ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to the event's rules and schedule.

b. Each team is responsible for their own equipment, such as uniforms and playing gear.

7. Referee Decisions:

a. Decisions made by the event referees are final and binding.

b. Disputes may be resolved through the established grievance process, as determined by the event organisers.

8. Cancellation and Refund:

a. The event organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances, including inclement weather.

b. In the event of a full cancellation of the event where it will not be rescheduled, participants will be entitled to a full refund. However, in the event of having to reschedule due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, a partial or full refund will not be issued. 

9. Media and Photography:

a. By participating in the Sports Gala Event, you grant permission for event organizers to use photographs, videos, or other media in which you may appear for promotional purposes.

10. Amendments:

a. The event organizers reserve the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes via email or on the event website.

11. Severability:

a. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

By participating in the Sports Gala Event on the 27th April, 2025, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disqualification from the event.
